Group Classes

Edinburgh, Scotland

Our Group Classes are directed at improving obedience, handler attention and emotional regulation in both reactive and sociable dogs.

To ensure that all dogs have a good training foundation and are ready for the class setting, we require all dogs and owners to do some private training sessions before joining.

Training in the real world.

Group classes for dog owners who are serious about their dogs’ and their own progression.

For each class level, we have one group for reactive dogs and one group for social and adolescent dogs.

All our classes are held outdoors on the weekends. Wear appropriate waterproof shoes and clothes - you will likely get muddy!

The class spaces are limited to allow for more individual feedback. You will have the opportunity to ask training questions and learn concepts you can apply on your own walks. Your commitment, willingness to challenge yourself, and adherence to your training plan will determine how long it takes for you to progress through the levels. To make sure that you have the skills required to help your dog, the classes are best paired with monthly coaching sessions.

The training is always adjusted to the dog’s pace. Dogs who are fearful, frustrated or anxious often take longer than others to progress and may need to repeat each level until they are ready to move forward. A discount is applied to repeated class levels and to Doggie Day Trip clients.
